Review: Photobook Malaysia

Dear readers,

I have finally received all of my free Photobooks. Yes, they are free! All you have to do is just look out for deals in Groupon. Usually Groupon will have offers on 6" x 6" 40page Mini Square Softcover Photobook worth RM79. So be sure to subscribe to Photobook Malaysia and Groupon for great deals.

 6" x 6" Mini Square Softcover
I have a total of 7 mini Photobooks. All travel except one specially for my Bruno.

Back view of my books. The paper used is 190gsm Photo Lustre Paper.

It is really easy to design your own Photobook. Here's how I create my Photobooks:

1. Edit all chosen photos and store in a folder.
2. Download Photobook Designer.
3. Choose specific size.
4. Insert pictures and decorations. You can also use Readybook Templates.
5. After you are satisfied, click on "Check Project".
6. Place order.
7. Log in or sign up.
8. Enter voucher code if any.
9. Make payment. If it is free, you still have to pay RM8 for shipping.

*Note: Only one book per delivery means I have to pay RM8 seven times when I ordered 7 mini photobooks. It's fine to pay more for hardcover large photobooks but those mini ones are very light. I wish they could combine shipping. Other than that I have no complains.

Besides the mini softcovers I have another 2 large hardcover Photobooks. The 8" x 11" Medium Portrait Imagewrap Hardcover worth RM189 was a gift from my husband that depicts our courting journey from 2004 till 2012. The 15" x 11" Large Landscape Imagewrap Hardcover worth RM299 was a wedding gift from friends so we used it for our wedding day photos and honeymoon.

Excellent quality printing and paper.

Benji boy, mummy and daddy first met in 2004. Benji is my dog if you read the previous post about my cat.

See how young and naive we were. Here's Benji boy kaypoing.

Moving forward we graduated and went to so many places together.

My husband first used DSLR in 2010 and became a so called professional photographer. Contact Keong Da'Great for any events, products or simply anything you want him to capture.

We had our ROM in 2011.

    1. Hi there,
Yes, they are free. I only paid for the shipping cost RM8. If you subscribe to Groupon u will receive emails about their deals frequently so if lucky u might encounter some freebies. Besides you can always see friends share about free photobook on Facebook. That's how I got the news and quickly grab the deal :)

  2. Did you have any problems with pictures that looked fine on your screen but were printed too dark? What computer did you use? I read online that it is advisable to calibrate your display to suit their colour system.

    1. Hi dear,
Yes their printing always come out too dark so normally I adjust a little bit brighter or use the auto enhance on their program to suit their mode. Each monitor is either more bias to blue or green. Can tell the difference when comparing side by side coz I'm connecting to two external monitors

    1. Hi Charlene,
When you insert photo into the page in the app it will show whether the resolution is good for printing or not. If photo is too small you can adjust the size by dragging the picture box till the warning sign dissapear. Handphone photos will work just fine as some of mine are from handphone too.

    1. Hello there, yes the pictures will come out abit darker than on screen so usually I would adjust the brightness. About the yellow, you can complain to Photobook as I never encounter this before
