Review: J-Garden Restaurant

Hello food lovers!

We have just celebrated our first round of birthday in this Japanese fusion restaurant on December 2015 with my husband's colleagues. Yeah, our birthdays are just a week apart but born different year. Being a new restaurant, his colleague was amazed after a first try thus booked J-Garden for the celebration.

Happy sweet 16 lol...

Ample parking space in front of the entrance. It's located beside Queensbay Mall.

Long table for large group perfect for parties and events.

Tastefully furnished casual dining.

Brightly lit joyful environment gives you a warm feeling.

One of the drinks that we ordered.

 Salads cost about RM16 - RM22

Salsa di pomodoro RM19

Chikin nanban set RM26
All set meals are served with a bowl of rice, miso soup and a side dish.

Tokatsu set RM28

Pan seared salmon RM28

Piccata pork RM23

Katsu toji set RM29

Seafood soup pasta RM28

My pasta arrived the last after reminding the waiter. Juicy and succulent hearty meal but damn salty. I hope the chef unintentionally dumped a bunch of salt only on that day. Seafood is naturally salty that additional salt isn't necessary.

Beef hamburger steak RM32

Homemade beef patty on demiglace sauce and topped with melted cheese. Pork is also available.

Tiramisu RM18

Soft and creamy texture with sweet aroma of coffee makes this a definitely must try.

Hubby's hamburg was super delicious. It is what I imagined it would taste like as I was craving for the hamburg steak that we missed dearly in Osaka.

Would I come again? Nope because they messed up my order when I was very hungry. Waited an hour to find super salty broth. It is also on a slightly pricier side compared to equivalent restaurants. Unless this is a semi fine dining restaurant I have no say about the price. On a positive note, the staffs and lady boss are friendly and attentive.
