Let's recap... yesterday was a short but fun walking tour in Singapore. Technically today and the day before isn't exactly Iceland but rather long transits that we willingly opted to squeeze in some extra cities. So literally today is a London trip. What can you do in London for just a day? What we did was crazy and highly not recommended. You should at least spend 3 full days in this beautiful city and visit other nearby towns as well. But if you are in a tight budget like us and only wanna spend below RM1000 (2 person + hotel + transport + food) and touch-n-go as many landmarks as possible then read below how we did it. At Changi airport. You can read previous post on how we spent half a day touring around Marina Bay. Our flight to London was at 11:15pm.
Changing guard takes place daily from April - July and alternate days from August - March. You can check the schedule here before
you go. Usually 11:30am but it can change so do check the page
often.Supposedly there's changing guard today but the website has a memo
stating from 16 January onward times will be different...so too bad la.
However Queen's Life Guard takes place 11am daily at Horse Guards Parade.
Do you see the white tent? It only takes a minute or two to queue. Security check to enter The British Museum is hella tight. But it makes us feel safe. As I'm writing now there's been a number of terrorist attacks in London itself lately.

London is one of the cities I wanted to visit when I was a child and here I am!
