Hello, food lovers!
Yesterday hubby and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary with a simple dinner and a movie. Gods of Egypt was more fascinating than expected. Having lack of research, I thought it was a 3D animation like Final Fantasy. The effects were great and Gerard Butler was awesome as always.
Ok, back to food review. I had been longing to try Plan B since its opening 2 years ago. Plan B by BIG is a casual dining chain restaurant that started in KL. No wonder the interior feels like Ben's.
Plan B has the contemporary fresh vibe alongside creative flavours of east meets west dishes. Well, I can just categorize this as a hipster café.
Waiting time for food to arrive was fair enough. They could have wiped the table after guests left and not cleaning only when customers arrive like in kopitiam.
At first I ordered their Cheeseburger Royale but the waiter came back and said out of stock. So I was recommended Lemongrass Chicken Rice. The chicken is like teriyaki chicken and I wished they could have steamed the bean sprouts and poured more sauce as it was tad dry.
Then I tried hubby's Spicy Duck Spaghetti. The level of spiciness lived up to its name and tasted like asam laksa. Hubby thinks his favourite RM7 duck rice at Happy Cafe, Taman Pekaka would be more worth it.
Then I quit on the chicken rice and decided to order Salted Egg Spaghetti. It's great to see a little twist to an Italian cuisine with salted egg yolk and curry leaves but it was damn spicy as well! The creamy sauce tasted like what I usually would cook at home.

The menu is kinda on the pricier side.
You can linger around with friends while enjoying artisan coffee. Check out their buy 1 free 1 coffee and tea.
Both of us ordered from their set dinner menu.

After 2 servings of mains, I had to tapau back the RM5 red velvet cake. Usual price would be RM13 but you can order a dessert for RM5 from a list of 5 choices when you are having their set dinner. Anyway you have to ask the waiter for the list of 5. The red velvet was very moist with thick cheesy frosting and I would say cakes are their specialty.
Would I patronize again? NOOOOO... unless I see outstanding reviews.

Thanks for sharing these restaurant reviews! I am so impressed. I need to organize my cousin’s pre-wedding get-together and also have to book wedding venues for her. She is quite busy and wants me to look after things.
